Future expectantions.

These are the real dreams of Sot-Uganda International aiming to achieve for its Sustainability:   The Organization hopes to establish a Foster Children's Village what we shall call SOT-UGANDA CHILDREN'S VILLAGE., As even now there are over 600 both children Women in Iganga and Bugiri waiting for foster homes. This vision helps the children and also the widows a filling major need in Uganda.

This is to be different from the set up of a children’s home (Orphanage) that we have at the moment. , Sot-Uganda Children's Village  will have several small houses set up in a farm like form or family like form. Each small house will house 6-8 kids, with a mom being a widow. Each house has been estimated at about $9000US. This will include a toilet and Bath Room, and it will contain 3 bed rooms, one for the   boys, another for the girls, and the third one for the widow, being the mother.

We are seeking the Lord God to provide funds to buy land. On the same Land, we will establish :-   A primary school, A Baby's care centre with a nursary school, Volunteers appartments and a voccation school, A secondary school, Hospital with a nursing school and do farming that even the kids will learn how to do farming. We will keep cattle, for the kids to take milk, and sell some to meet some other day to day running of the project or having it self sufficient. We will also keep chicken, Pigs, Goats, and grow our own food, to feed our Orphaned, abandoned kids and widows and the homeless. Even some of the needy children who have parents in Uganda cannot afford school or medical care.

  • A fully fledged medical centre to cater for the boys, rehabilitation facility and laundry rooms
  • Cafeteria and Recreational grounds
  • Conference and lounge facility.
  • Gyms, swimming pool, massage and sauna facilities
  • Administrative and offices block
  • The proposed academy structure will be similar to the David Beckham Academy structure .
  • Parking ground

Since 2009 we have been operating a demonstration farm (which provides training, food and an income to the local community) and since 2010 a nursery school has been in operation. Currently we have over 150 children being educated in two formal classrooms and three 'improvised' classrooms.

Our aim is to provide a better quality of life for the local community, and for the village to eventually become self-sustaining. Current plans are to build a primary school - if you'd like to sponsor a child, fund raise or just donate on a one off basis, please check out our website and get in touch.

    Thank you.
